Plainly stated
How this referral service works
We are not a snow removal contractor. Here is exactly what happens when you send a request, and what our vetting does and does not mean.
Nobody from this site owns a truck, runs a crew, or arrives at a property with a plow or a bag of salt. What runs here is a referral service: a way for people in Oakville who need snow cleared to reach independent contractors who do that work for a living.
There are three of those contractors at the moment. Each was added only after we decided they belonged in the network.
What happens after you submit
You send the property details
The address, whether it is a home or a commercial site, and what you want cleared. Four fields, no account, no phone call first.
The request reaches a contractor
We route it to one of the three in the network, choosing on what you described. A driveway and a plaza are not the same job.
The contractor takes it from there
Quote, schedule and the work itself are between the two of you. We are not a party to that agreement.
What “vetted” means, exactly
It means we chose them
These three contractors are in the network because we picked them for it. That is the whole of the claim.
They carry insurance
That is a fact about the contractors we can state. We do not audit it, and we do not hold copies of their certificates.
It is not a guarantee of the outcome
We will not promise how fast anyone responds to a storm, or that you will be happy with the result. That sits between you and the contractor, and we are not positioned to speak for them.

Why there are no prices here
The contractor doing the work is the one who knows what a property actually needs. A figure invented on this site would be a number nobody has to honour, so there is not one. The quote you get comes from the person who will be clearing the snow.
Where the network reaches
Oakville, and only Oakville. A request from outside the town has nowhere to go, because the network does not extend past it.

What has changed here
The Oakville network opened for the 2026/27 winter
Three independent contractors confirmed for the season. Oakville only, with no plan to route requests beyond the town.
Commercial lots and walkways added
One of the three takes commercial sites, so lot clearing and entrance salting are now part of what a request here can reach.
Windrow clearing and salting split onto their own pages
The two jobs people ask about separately, described separately: the ridge a road plow leaves across a driveway, and the surfaces that ice over after a thaw.
Happy with that arrangement?
Tell us about your property and we will pass it to a contractor in the Oakville network.
